Semi-Solation Dec 2016 to June 2017. By Alan Clitherow. This is a semi-solation showing the path of the Sun from sunrise to a little after midday, as seen by a pinhole camera mounted on the roof of my house. Runs from Dec 16 to June 17 so shows shortest to longest day. The distortion in the path of the Sun arises from the nature of a pinhole lens, not from having a wobbly Sun!
Moody Sun By Tony Hayes. 20th March 2015 16.56UT. Canon EOS1200D f/5.6 1/200sec ISO-6400 300mm. “Having made a pair of solar white light filters for my binoculars using Baader solar film, I decided to make one for my camera. It fits tightly over the lens, so here is my first picture”
