NGC 457 by Phil Rourke
Taken last night through a gap in the mist and partial cloud cover. NGC457 also known as the Owl Cluster as some imaginative people think the bright stars phi1 and phi2 look like the eyes of an owl. One 60 second exposure at ISO 800 using 8 inch Newtonian. Focusing aided by the Bahtinov mask and Crayford focuser. Image tweaked using the Canon EOS software.
