"Three views of the same object. It’s the Soul or Embryo nebula (IC1848) just next to the Heart Nebula (IC1805), and I tried a version of the Hubble palette on this one. Very little sulphur detail and only a bit more oxygen detail despite an hours’ worth of exposure in each channel. Lots of Hydrogen detail however so that predominates and gives the overall green colouration. SII mapped to red, Ha mapped to green and OIII mapped to blue, all in 10 minute sub-exposures exposures from the cooled and mono-modified Canon Eos 600D. Not sure I like the resulting garish colours so include a mono and red only (ha) version for your comments." A.C
